Buddy is one Wonderful Akita

Adopted!

Meet Buddy!  Buddy is a sweet gentle boy, who happens to be blind.  He is young, and his blindness does not affect him at all.  He just uses his other senses.  Buddy walks well on a leash, knows some commands, like car rides.  He is crate trained and has had his stomach tacked to prevent gastric torsion.  He would do well with another dog, properly introduced.  I had the pleasure of meeting Buddy when I was up in Jacksonville to adopt Chanda.  How I wished I could have taken the two of them home with me!  He is an absolute love bug...

If you feel you can open your heart to this young man, please call Dorie at 904-302-3980,

I think I was tagged by Bobbi O'Keefe which is quite a complement as she only tagged loving dog owners.Shade was my third rescue Akita. She was captured outside of Orlando in a field terrified and starving(weighed 40 pounds)in bad enough shape that they couldn't even spay her yet.Dorie worked her magic for a year and 4 years later she's 85 pounds and a most affectionate dog if you're not an animal. That we don't want to discuss.
Now, I believe I need to tag other most wonderful people so will have to figure out how so some of you will hear from me.
I can never thank Dorie enough. She truly is the "Akita maven"
